    Congratulations to Tutawake Dickel-Smith (Year 12) and Chanse Pieta (Year 11) who received the prestigious award that recognises their commitment to their studies and Maoritanga.  Well done.

    2017 World iGEO Olympiad Squad

    Congratulations to Jonty Wispinski for his selection into the New Zealand team which will travel to Belgrade, Serbia in August 2017.  An outstanding effort.

  • Elliot Brown Portugal

    Surfing - ISA Junior World Championships

    Congratulations to Elliot Brown on his efforts at the ISA Junior World Championships.  In his first time at the event he finished a very accomplished 37th out of the 200 competitors.

  • Theatresports

    South Island Theatresports Competition - 2nd Place

    Congratulations to the team for their efforts at the Theatresports competition in Christchurch where they finished a very credible 2nd place against stiff competition.  Well done.

    Robotics - Premier Search and Rescue Winner

    Congratulations to Jeremy Hastie on his success at the recent Robotics competition where he gained first place in the Premier Search and Rescue Category.  A fantastic effort.

    Fencing - National U23 Men's Epee Winner

    Congratulations to Riley Symon on his success at the recent National Fencing tournament where he placed first in the U23 Men's Epee as a Year 12 student .  An outstanding effort.

    Australian Maths Competition - High Distinction

    Congratulations to George Bates for his efforts in achieving an High Distinction award, placing him in the top 3% of all Year 9 participants.  Well done.

  • National Schools Culinary Challenge

    Congratulations to Felix McDonald and Tom White on their Silver Medal (80-89 points out of 100).  Well done.

    Congratulations go out to the Omathalon team who successfully defended the title they won last year placing first again in 2016.  Well done!

  • Queen B and the Swing Kings

    Southern Youth Jam Jazz Festival 2016

    Congratulations to the combined King's High and Queen's High Schools Jazz Band for their efforts at the recent Jazz Festival.  Their efforts saw them achieve a Bronze Award.  Well done.
